User Data Deletion Instructions

You may request deletion of personal information associated with the SRI ANJANA SCHOOL website, ERP, admission services, or official WhatsApp communication.

How to submit a deletion request

1. Email info@sas.in with the subject User Data Deletion Request.
2. Provide your name, relationship to the School, registered email or phone number, relevant student/application identifier if applicable, and the services/data you want deleted.
3. Do not email passwords, access tokens, full payment-card details, Aadhaar documents, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
4. The School may request reasonable identity or guardian-authority verification before acting on the request.

WhatsApp requests

Include the WhatsApp number used to contact the School and request both communication opt-out and deletion where desired. The School will record the opt-out promptly so optional messages stop while the deletion request is reviewed.

What happens next

After verification, we will delete or de-identify eligible information from active systems and instruct relevant processors where appropriate. We aim to respond within 30 days. Backup copies may remain until the normal secure backup cycle completes.

Information we may retain

We may retain limited records required for education, child safeguarding, statutory reporting, accounting, fee disputes, fraud prevention, security logs, legal claims, or proof that an opt-out/deletion request was honoured. Where complete deletion is not permitted, access will be restricted and the reason will be explained.

Confirmation

We will confirm completion or explain any lawful retention requirement using the verified contact channel. A deletion request does not automatically cancel admission, employment, outstanding fees, or another contractual relationship; contact the School separately for those actions.
